Contribution｜"Designing Cities for All-Closing Perspectives "

SHIBAURA HOUSE is part of the publication by Pakhuis de Zwijger: "Designing Cities for All-Closing Perspectives." The program is based on the idea that everyone is a designer of the city.

How can we design in a time of metacrisis? Overlapping global challenges such as climate change, economic instability, social inequality, and technological destruction require radically rethinking our current systems. In these complex and uncertain contexts, we call on everyone and designers everywhere to move beyond aesthetic solutions, embracing systems thinking, resilience, adaptability, and, most of all, inclusion.

In 2024, we took part in the program "Designing Cities for All: Re-Generation" as a program fellow, co-organizing three live-cast episodes under the theme of "(Re)designing Connections." 

The publication is a collection of the contributions from the former fellows who have been involved in the program.
